Anchorage, Alaska

So we finally got back from our two week vacation in Alaska. We had a blast! This picture is from our stay in Anchorage! This is the Elevator that we got stuck in. . . .That's right, we got in at the first floor. All of the sudden the elevator started dropping to the basement with the doors still open. The doors slowly closed halfway down to the basement and then we just stopped. We started laughing hysterically in disbelief and called the front desk and told the receptionist that we were stuck. She asked how many of us were in there. After counting I told her 8 and her response was, "Oh. Last time we had ten stuck in there." We all looked at each other and thought, "Last Time???" Anyway, the maintenance man came to our rescue (notice the tools in the picture). He worked on the door from the outside and we pried the door open from the inside. After about 10 minutes of being in the elevator, we were out!
