This had to be the best part of the trip. We went to Brooks Falls, which is in the Katmai National Park. We got close enough to some of these bears that I could have spit on them...and I spit like a girl!!!

I absolutely LOVE those pics of the bears fishing. Sometimes you forget that animals really just live in the wild--they aren't just in zoos. What an amazing experience!!!
